James Napoleon Lai Represents Indonesia

House of Piano proudly hosted the recording session for the Steinway Asia Pacific Regional Finals, featuring Indonesian young pianist James Napoleon Lai. The session was conducted using a Steinway Grand Piano, ensuring the highest standard of sound quality and musical expression.

A Remarkable Musical Journey

James Napoleon Lai began learning piano at the age of five under the guidance of his mother. Now only fourteen years old, he has already made numerous successful appearances in local, national, and international piano competitions.

One of his most notable achievements was becoming the 1st Winner of Talentum C at the Indonesia Steinway Youth Piano Competition (ISYPC) 2020, a milestone that led to his selection as Indonesia’s representative at the Steinway Asia Pacific Regional Finals.

Representing Indonesia on the Regional Stage

Selected to compete at the regional level, James completed his official recording session at House of Piano, performing on a Steinway Grand Piano that fully supports the nuance, dynamics, and depth required for an international competition.

His dedication, discipline, and musical maturity were clearly reflected throughout the session, demonstrating the qualities of a promising young artist on the global stage.

House of Piano extends its sincere appreciation to James Napoleon Lai for his hard work and commitment. We are confident that this is only the beginning of an inspiring musical journey and wish him continued success in all future endeavors
