Scherl & Roth step-up double basses are crafted with a hand
carved solid spruce top, maple back and sides, hand inlaid purfling and
hand-applied spirit varnish. Each instrument is adjusted in our shop and
set-up with Helicore strings, ebony fingerboard and French maple bridge
with adjusting wheels.
