House of Piano and Steinway Indonesia proudly presented the IBA Home Concert, an inspiring afternoon and evening of music featuring a special Student Recital and Solo Concert at Steinway Gallery Jakarta.

Held on Sunday, 30 August 2026, at Steinway Gallery Jakarta, the event brought together students, families, music enthusiasts, and audiences for a memorable celebration of musical growth, artistry, and performance.

The event unfolded in two special sessions. The Student Recital featured young musicians performing on the Boston GP-156 Performance Edition II Grand Piano, providing an inspiring stage for students to share their musical progress and express their individuality through performance. The evening continued with a captivating Solo Concert, performed on the Steinway & Sons B-211 Spirio, where the artistry and expressive possibilities of the Steinway piano took center stage.

The IBA Home Concert created a warm and meaningful setting where students, performers, families, and music lovers could come together to celebrate the joy of making music. From the excitement of the student performances to the artistry of the solo concert, each moment reflected dedication, passion, and the continuous journey of musical development.

Each work offered a distinct musical character, moving between moments of intimacy, lyrical expression, and dynamic dialogue between piano and viola. The kick-off featured a special performance by Pieter Gunawan, First Prize Winner of ISYPC 2018, whose artistry offered an inspiring reflection of the journey that begins with a passion for music and continues through dedication and perseverance. The event also featured a special jury talkshow with Dr. Martin Kesuma, award-winning pianist and educator, sharing valuable perspectives on musical development, performance, and the journey of young pianists. Held on Sunday, 13 September 2026, at Wyndham Casablanca Jakarta, the competition brought together young musicians for a meaningful opportunity to step onto the stage, showcase their abilities, and experience the excitement of performing in a competitive setting. My First Piano Competition Throughout the competition, the participants performed on the Pearl River GP-188 Grand Piano, bringing their musical interpretations and individuality to life through each performance. From the anticipation of stepping onto the stage to the confidence gained through performing, every moment reflected the dedication and enthusiasm of these young musicians.  My First Piano Competition More than a competition, My First Piano Competition created a meaningful platform for children to build confidence, gain valuable performance experience, and continue developing their musical abilities.
